On the Cache tab, you can configure the following parameters of the Dr.Web Server cache cleanup:
•Cache flush period—time interval for starting cache flush.
•Quarantined files—the storage time (TTL) in the cache of Dr.Web Server quarantine:
▫Windows — <installation_folder>\var\qcache,
▫Linux — /var/opt/drwcs/qcache,
▫FreeBSD — /var/drwcs/qcache.
•Repository files—the storage time (TTL) in the cache of repository files loaded into memory as a result of a download request.
•File cache—the storage time (TTL) of the file cache. The file cache is stored as hard links leading to the Dr.Web Server repository files. The file cache is located in the following folders:
▫Windows — <installation_folder>\var\file-cache,
▫Linux — /var/opt/drwcs/file-cache,
▫FreeBSD — /var/drwcs/file-cache.

During file cache flush, a hard link is deleted when the original file referenced by the link is deleted and the file cache's TTL expires. The file cache's TTL is calculated from the last time the file was accessed (last access time). Therefore, if a file is accessed more frequently than specified in the File Cache field (for example, during scanning or backup by tools other than Dr.Web Server), the TTL for this file will be regularly updated, and it will not be deleted during file cache flush.
File managers and disk analyzers may incorrectly account for hard links and significantly inflate the actual file cache size. Do not manually delete files from the file cache – it may lead to increased disk space consumption.

•Installation packages—the storage time (TTL) in the cache of personal and group installation package files:
▫Windows — <installation_folder>\var\installers-cache,
▫Linux — /var/opt/drwcs/installers-cache,
▫FreeBSD — /var/drwcs/installers-cache.
Click Delete all installation packages now, to delete all personal and group installation packages previously cached and resided in the installers-cache folder. Please note: when accessing these packages for downloading, they will be created anew which may take some time.

When setting numerical values, please note the drop-down lists with unit of measure for intervals.
